2014 ANNUAL DINNER: A NIGHT AT THE PARAMOUNT

The 2014 Annual Dinner was our red carpet event. Our emcee was Andrew Morris. The award winning dinner was catered by All About You Catering. In addition, a wonderful video tribute and presentation featuring Middletown's rich theater and studio history showcased the evening. This red carpet event also featured awards for the History Makers, History Preservers and the evening's Best Dressed.

History Makers:

Frank O. Diver - Founder of Middletown's oldest business that is still in operation today and owned/operated by the same family (Diver's Coal & Feed) now Diver's Garden and Pet Supplies.

Stephen Vail - One of Middletown's First Settlers who platted the City of Middletown and set up the city charter.

History Preservers:

Sam Ashworth - Curator and creator of exhibits for the Historical Society.

Perry Thatcher - Middletown Humanitarian and Philanthropist

Best Dressed: This award was voted on by attendees of the dinner and were awarded on best outfits for the evening.
