We are proud to announce that the Middletown Historical Society's 2026 Annual Dinner will be on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 5:45 p.m. at the Shartle House Museum located at 120 North Verity Parkway, Middletown, OH 45042.

​This year, the Middletown Historical Society reaches it's 60th year.  To commemorate our historical milestone, this year's theme will be the Diamond Jubilee.  We cannot wait to have you join us to help us celebrate this big birthday!

Dinner will be provided by Foodeez.  The event will feature an amazing presentation, silent auction and live auction items.

  • Herbert Fall: Middletown Artist of Historical People, Places and Events in Middletown History

  • Dave Francis: Sponsor of Annual Middletown History Calendar

  • Jack Howard:  Middletown Illustrator of Historical Pictures

  • James McBride: Butler County Historian who wrote the Cyclopedia of Butler County including accounts of Early Middletown and Lemon Township

  • Ann Mort:  Community Preservation Activist and Author

  • South Main Street Historic District / PRISM: Non-Profit Organization to Assist in the Preservation and Revitalization of the South Main Street Historic District.

  • Judge William Todhunter: Involved in the founding of the library and Middletown History Recorder
